JHU Journals are academic, bi-annual, peer reviewed international journals that offer the platform for scholarly debates and discussions in their respective fields.

The substantive paper is expected to be prefaced by an abstract of not more than 250 words, detailing with the structure of the work, broad and specific objectives the paper has sought out to accomplish, methods employed, research design and hypothesis tested where applicable, major findings and conclusion.

Papers submitted for assessment should adopt the APA 7th edition referencing style, Times New Roman using font size 12, and should not exceed 7,500 words of 1.5 spaced typing. All papers are expected to be in line with these ground norms of the editorial policy.

 

Visibility: JHU Journals’ open access policy allows maximum visibility of articles published in the journal as they are available to a wide, global audience.

Speed of publication

JHU Journals offer a fast publication schedule and a rigorous peer review; all articles must be submitted online, and peer review is electronically managed. Articles are published with their final citation upon acceptance. The article will subsequently be published in both formatted PDF form. The article will then be available through Journal’s name and published on the journal website.

Flexibility

Online publication in JHU Journals gives authors the opportunity to publish large datasets, large numbers of color illustrations and moving pictures, to display data in a form that can be read directly by other software packages so as to allow readers to manipulate the data for themselves, and to create all relevant links.

Promotion and press coverage

Articles published in JHU Journals are included in article alerts  and regular email updates. Some may be included in abstract books mailed to academics and are highlighted on the JHU Journals Homepage.

In addition, articles published in JHU Journals may be promoted by press releases to the general or scientific press. These activities increase the exposure and number of accesses for articles published in JHU Journals.

Authors of articles published in JHU Journals retain the copyright of their articles and are free to reproduce and disseminate their work.

Not article processing fee is charged unto the author(s) that publish in the first issue of JHU Journals.
